The Guardian published fresh images today of the BBC’s newly revamped Broadcasting House – a project for which Speirs + Major helped deliver the lighting concept. The brief was to refit the art deco Broadcasting House and build an extension to accommodate all BBC News, Radio and World Service output.

Speirs + Major were brought in by Bovis Lend Lease to assist in the delivery of an original light concept by architect Sir Richard MacCormac. The signature blue light of the curved facade provides a cycloramic backdrop for the neighbouring All Souls Church, lit by artist Martin Richman.
