The Upper Hills mixed-use development consists of two landmark towers connected to a large shopping mall, and a high-end fashion galleria. On top of the mall is The Town, a network of retail, dining, and live-work units which form a neighbourhood that connects two major Shenzhen parks, Lotus Hill Park and Beacon Hill Park. The development also includes residential apartments and townhouses, a boutique hotel, a five star hotel, a theatre and various types of office and work space.

We are working closely with the client, Shim Yup Land Company, and architects SOM, Arquitectonica and Urbanus to provide a coherent lighting design for the various elements of the development, which emphasises the diversity and character of the different spaces, considers light over the full 24 hours in a day, and is designed with the visitor experience in mind.
