Working alongside landscape architects Robert Myers Associates, the team visited the site after dark last week to advise on the positioning and focus of the lights to create the most magical lit effects.

As daylight fades, the magic of the garden comes to life. Pathways lead through a wild wood full of mysterious ‘fire flies’; spot-lit mythical creatures flank a pergola that plays with perspective; and the internal light of the tiltyard towers lead to a glowing aerial walkway…..all while the dragon’s eyes glimmer and colourful steam trails from his nostrils.

The garden is due to open to the public at Easter.
