Last weekend, Satu and Benz were involved with the Wellcome Trust's 'Incredible Encounters with Light', a series of talks "that promise to illuminate, sparkle and delight", as part of the wider 'On Light' event series, with events taking place from Friday night until the bank holiday Monday.

On Friday evening, Satu and Benz collaborated with Sociologists Joanne Entwistle, Don Slater and Mona Sloane to produce 'Lights of London', a talk about how the lights of the city shape the urban environment, before taking to the streets on a short walking tour to see the impact light has in person. The walk took in historical features in Bedford Square and Woburn Place, the listed columns on Tottenham Court Road and some interesting features around Fitzrovia including an old Rights of Light sign.
